The cold water rises. You didn't feel it at first, then you didn't want to admit it. Now it's on your neck and constricts your air. And it keeps rising.

Like an unstoppable tide, depression and other mental disorders can rip and devastate an individual's life course. In a time of crises like the current one, the topic is more relevant than ever.

Rising Tide begins on a stormy night, in which the protagonist writes his suicide note, promising to shed light on the reasons for his imminent suicide for those left behind. In the following three songs, these turn out to be an interplay of depressive disposition, an accident of the partner and the resulting alcohol addiction. The EP closes again with the situation of the protagonist writing his acoustic farewell letter, whereby the specific outcome of the night remains open.
